East Coast Overview: Real quiet for the weekend: Still the same old story with the Bermuda High positioned too far to the south and east and the southeasterly winds and southeasterly windswell it normally produces not occurring. Weak low pressure is to be moving off the Northeast coast Friday possibly setting up a short lived fetch of south winds at 20 kts pushing into Long Island making for some south windswell there early Saturday.
But otherwise the winds is to be all offshore relative to any other location, pretty much eliminating odds for swell. Still, it will be nice for just going to the beach and having fun.
Southeast: Saturday and Sunday there no rideable surf forecast with light offshores early and glassy conditions. Summer is settling in.
Mid-Atlantic: Saturday there some chance for small knee high south-southwest short period windswell at exposed south facing breaks. But even that is to be gone by Sunday. So try and search it out on Saturday if you want a shot at it.
Northeast: On both Saturday and Sunday there a little chance for some shin to knee high south short period windswell at exposed south facing breaks. otherwise it’s pretty quiet, so take what you can get.

West Coast Overview: More southern hemi swell: The swell machine, while not cranking into overdrive, has been quite productive. And no letdown is forecast for the weekend. Another pulse of swell from a decent sized gale that set up under Tahiti Tues-Thurs (6/4) producing 40-45 kt winds and generating 35-37 ft seas is to be arriving later Friday and holding nicely through the weekend from a good southwest direction. It is shadowed a bit by Tahiti, which will chop
off some of the potential size and consistency, but still should result in well rideable surf at all the usual summer breaks. Make the most of this and have a great time.
Pacific Northwest Overview: A little more: That same southern hemi system that organized under New Zealand last week and hit Hawaii the middle of this week and California later in the week is expected to be arriving in the Pacific Northwest for the weekend. Again, it’s not to be a powerful swell, just something fun to ride. So paddle out and get yourself a few. Saturday new waist to chest high southwest southern hemi swell expected with northwest winds maybe 5 kts or so early adding some texture. Sunday near chest high southwest southern hemi swell continues but with northwest winds 10 kts in Washington and chopping it up, but a little cleaner down into Oregon.
Northern CA: Saturday yet more southwest southern hemi swell is expected at chest to shoulder high early at top breaks coming from the southwest, with light winds and glassy conditions early. Sunday that southern hemi swell starts fading but still waist to chest high.
Central CA: Saturday more southern hemi swell is forecast at chest to near shoulder high early coming from the southwest with good conditions. Sunday the southern hemi swell starts fading some still waist to chest high early.
Southern CA: Saturday southwest southern hemi swell is expected at chest high and a little better at top spots light winds early and glassy conditions. Sunday the southern hemi swell is to be fading some, but still waist to chest high and clean.

Hawaii Overview: It isn’t over yet: More southern hemi swell is expected in for the weekend. A weaker gale formed under New Zealand last weekend generating 40 kt wind and 30 ft seas pushing well towards the Islands. That should arrive on Friday and
continue into Saturday. And that same gale reorganized a bit east of New Zealand last Sunday with up to 50 kts winds and 30 ft seas over a tiny area, sending more swell towards the Islands for the later half of the weekend. So if you’re not totally surfed out already, go for a paddle and get a few more.
North Shore: No surf is forecast Saturday or Sunday. Summer conditions are in-effect.
South Shore: Southern hemi swell to still be arriving pushing chest to shoulder high on Saturday and a little more at top spots and holding well into Sunday with little to no change in size.
East Shore: Trades still are to be lighter than normal with limited short period east windswell thigh high on Saturday down to knee high on Sunday.
